This policy explains how Atlas Motion Agency ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit atlasmotionagency.com or contact us. We are based in the United Kingdom and follow the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Atlas Motion Agency is the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us about your data at business@atlasmotionagency.com.

What we collect

Details you send through our quote form or by email: your name, work email, brand website, the service you're interested in and anything you write in your message.
Information you share with us during a project, such as product images, scripts and brand guidelines.
Basic technical data our hosting provider records when you visit the site, such as your IP address and browser type, used to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry and send you a quote.
To deliver work you've agreed with us and to send invoices.
To keep records we're required to keep for tax and accounting.

We don't sell your data, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Our legal basis

We use your details to respond to a request you made before entering into a contract with us, to perform a contract once you become a client, to meet legal obligations such as keeping accounting records, and for our legitimate interest in running and improving our business.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run the business, including our website host, form provider, email provider and invoicing and payment tools. They process data only on our instructions. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted within 24 months. Client and invoice records are kept for as long as UK tax law requires, usually six years.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy of it. Email business@atlasmotionagency.com and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
